Adam first began performing with his trio back in late 2008. Since then, he has self-recorded and independently released three full-length studio albums by his band: The Chauffeur, Blue Mud, and Up 'N Hear. Recipients of positive acclaim locally, nationally, as well as internationally, they have been acquired by fans and various distributive entities across North America, throughout Europe as well as in Japan. Even more, tracks from these original recordings continue to receive steady airplay on terrestrial and satellite radio stations worldwide.

With that, playing live and in front of an audience is when The Adam Bodine Trio really manifests its artistry to a spectacular dimension. Their gigs radiate a playful presence and feature stellar musicianship, powerful dynamism, spirited improvisation and venturesome interplay.

Particularly impressive, Dazzle - Denver, Colorado's premier jazz club - has proven to be a fantastic setting for Adam Bodine Trio shows. Their well-received late-night sets have had the honor of sharing the marquee with several distinguished bands and musicians including The Bad Plus (Ethan Iverson, Dave King, and Reid Anderson), Christian McBride, Eddie Gomez, Charlie Hunter, Ron Miles, Robert Glasper, Tia Fuller, Erik Deustch, Rudy Royston, Ed Soph, Stefan Karlsson, Andy Nevala, Rob Mullins, Nelson Rangell, Jeff Jenkins and Ken Walker.

For the most part, the instrumentation of Bodine's group is that of a traditional acoustic jazz piano trio format, which is complimented by upright bass and drums. Occasionally, Adam also incorporates the sounds of other vintage keyboards such as the Fender Rhodes and Wurlitzer electric pianos, Hohner clavinet, Hammond B3 organ, and various synthesizers. Beyond that, with his Trio's next studio album and current wave of compositional efforts, Adam has been expanding his horizons by integrating and arranging different combinations of instruments including strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion and more.
