Originally from the Chicagoland area, Bodine is currently a resident of beautiful Boulder County, Colorado, USA. His dedicated lifelong existence as a musician is accented by variety, growth and joy. Whether leading a band, backing up others, or playing solo, this versatile musician and enthusiastic performer embraces diversity and excels in many situations. Tearing it up on stage or laying it down in the studio, Adam has worked with well over a hundred different bands and the amount of gigs he has played has soared into the several thousands. He has also accompanied choirs, musicals and silent movies.

Due out soon in June will be Bodine's second solo piano album. Titled I Alone (after the rock band Live's 1994 hit), this intimate recording explores a handful of familiar pop and rock covers, as well as some new adventurous original material. To help celebrate this recording's release, Adam and his trio, along with some special guests, will be performing at Denver's premier jazz club, Dazzle, on Thursday, June 27th. Out of Colorado, USA, The Adam Bodine Trio creates instrumental music with a postmodern attitude and energy that is positive, dynamic and open-minded. Most often categorized as jazz, their sound embraces diversity and integrates a mixture of many genres and styles.

Led by pianist and composer Adam Bodine, this talented trio primarily showcases its young bandleader’s original compositions. Adam's song catalog is extensive, eclectic and it embodies a flexible framework for his spirited musical personality to shine. Bodine's band is also equipped with a massive assortment of cover material, including creative interpretations of pop and rock hits, evocative theme songs, choice standards and obscure classics.

Over the last four years, Adam has produced and released three full-length original studio albums with his group: The Chauffeur (2009), Blue Mud (2010), and Up 'N Hear (2011). Recipients of acclaim locally, nationally and internationally, they continue to be acquired by fans and various distributive entities across North America, throughout Europe, as well as Japan. Even more, several tracks from these recordings receive steady airplay on terrestrial and satellite radio stations worldwide. Currently in the development stages is a fourth studio album from Bodine's band.

With that, performing live in front of a discernible audience finds The Adam Bodine Trio amplifying its artistry to spectacular dimensions. Their shows radiate a fun, playful presence and feature stellar musicianship, spirited improvisation and venturesome interplay. Always fresh and thoughtful in its song selection, every Adam Bodine Trio gig stages a production unto itself.

Throughout Colorado, Bodine's band has accumulated many impressive credentials. Selected multiple times as a Featured Artist on Denver's Jazz89 KUVO, Adam and his Trio have also played live on the air in the radio station's performance studio. What's more, The Trio has wowed crowds at The Mile High City's Five Points Jazz Festival and City Park Jazz's Summer Concert Series. They also perform frequently at one of the nation's premier jazz clubs Dazzle.

In addition to their public performances, The Adam Bodine Trio is also experienced in providing musical entertainment for a variety of private situations.
